Experienced Chef Norton

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Chef to join the team at the Head of Steam, Norton.

Applicants must have a valid food hygiene certificate and experience in a similar role is essential. A sound knowledge of freshly prepared food within a pub environment would be very beneficial. There is a real focus on freshly prepared, high quality food, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes.

The role involves helping to manage all aspects of a busy kitchen; preparing fresh food, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and working in partnership with the bar team. You must be strong in cost control and stock management. This is a high volume role so you must be well organised and hardworking. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate kitchen and bar team.

We shall be looking for candidates who are highly motivated, with a genuine love for cooking. High standards of cleanliness and due diligence are also a must for this role.

As well as offering a generous rate of pay, company benefits, 2 days off per week, the majority of the shifts will be straight.
