Camerons Brewery Tours

Booking Terms & Conditions and Important Safety Information

By booking or attending a Camerons Brewery Tour, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

1. Booking and admission

All brewery tours must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

Tickets are valid only for the tour date, time and number of participants stated in the booking confirmation.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check the accuracy of their booking, including the date, time, number of participants and ticket types, before completing payment.

Please check your booking confirmation promptly and report any errors as soon as possible.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to request proof of booking and, where appropriate, proof of age before admitting visitors.

2. Tour arrival and duration

Visitors must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tour start time to allow sufficient time for registration and any necessary safety procedures.

Tours will commence promptly at the advertised time.

Unfortunately, tours cannot be delayed to accommodate late arrivals. Visitors arriving after the tour has commenced may be refused admission.

Late arrival or failure to attend does not entitle the purchaser to a refund or alternative tour date.

Visitors should allow approximately 1½ hours for the overall brewery tour and tasting experience, although the actual duration may vary.

3. Cancellation and refunds

All brewery tour bookings are non-refundable once confirmed, except where required by law or expressly provided for in these terms.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking, you must telephone Camerons Brewery on 01429 852000.

Requests to cancel or reschedule must be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour start time.

Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, Camerons Brewery may offer a transfer to another available tour date, subject to availability and the conditions below.

Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice will not qualify for a refund or transfer, except where required by law.

No refunds or transfers will normally be provided for:

  • Failure to attend a booked tour (no-show).
  • Late arrival resulting in missed admission.
  • A change of mind or personal circumstances.
  • Unused tickets or places within a group booking.
  • Failure to comply with published age, footwear or safety requirements.
  • Booking errors or duplicate purchases not reported before the tour.

The fact that a ticket or place was not used does not, by itself, entitle the purchaser to a refund.

Nothing in this section affects statutory consumer rights.

4. Rescheduling and booking amendments

Requests to change the date or time of a brewery tour must be made by telephone on 01429 852000, giving at least 48 hours’ notice.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and confirmation by Camerons Brewery.

A booking is not considered amended until the brewery has confirmed the change.

Where a requested alternative date is unavailable, the original booking will remain valid unless otherwise agreed.

Requests received less than 48 hours before the tour will not normally be accepted.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to limit repeated booking amendments where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse of the booking system.

5. Duplicate bookings and booking errors

Purchasers must ensure that the correct number and type of tickets have been selected before payment.

Where a purchaser believes they have accidentally placed duplicate orders or made another booking error, they must notify Camerons Brewery as soon as reasonably possible and before the scheduled tour.

Camerons Brewery may, at its discretion, correct or refund a genuine booking error where sufficient notice has been provided.

Retrospective refund requests made after the scheduled tour for duplicate bookings, incorrect ticket quantities, unused places or other purchaser booking errors will not normally be accepted.

This provision does not affect any statutory rights or remedies.

6. Ticket transfers and resale

A purchaser who is unable to attend may request permission to transfer their booking to another eligible person.

Transfers must be agreed with Camerons Brewery in advance and are subject to the replacement participant satisfying all relevant age and safety requirements.

Group bookings must not be divided, repackaged or resold for commercial gain without the brewery’s prior written permission.

Tickets must not be resold for more than their original purchase price.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to refuse admission where tickets have been obtained or transferred in breach of these conditions, subject to applicable law.

7. Group and family bookings

For family bookings comprising two adults and two children aged 12–17, or bookings of eight or more people, please telephone 01429 852000 before booking.

All participants must satisfy the applicable age and safety requirements.

Group organisers are responsible for communicating the booking terms and safety requirements to everyone included in their booking.

Unused places within a group booking are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

8. Children and age restrictions

The brewery is an operational industrial environment and is not suitable for babies or children under 12 years of age, including babes in arms.

Children aged 12–17 may attend where permitted by the brewery, provided they are accompanied and appropriately supervised by a responsible adult.

Alcoholic drinks will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age. Suitable non-alcoholic alternatives may be available.

Proof of age may be requested.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to refuse admission where the minimum age or supervision requirements are not satisfied.

9. Accessibility and physical requirements

The brewery tour takes place within an operational industrial environment.

The tour route may include multiple flights of stairs, steep or open steps, narrow walkways, uneven surfaces and areas where seating is unavailable.

Visitors should be aware that the tour may require standing and walking for extended periods.

Anyone with mobility difficulties, concerns about using stairs or other accessibility requirements should contact Camerons Brewery on 01429 852000 before booking so that the brewery can discuss the route, individual needs and any reasonable adjustments or alternatives that may be available.

Participation may be restricted where a specific safety risk cannot reasonably be addressed.

10. Footwear and clothing

For safety reasons, all visitors must wear suitable footwear.

Flat, sensible, fully enclosed shoes, boots or trainers are required.

The following footwear is not permitted:

  • Flip-flops or sandals.
  • Open-toed shoes.
  • Stilettos or high heels.
  • Other footwear considered unsafe for the brewery environment.

Loose, long or flowing clothing should also be avoided where it could present a safety hazard.

Visitors wearing unsuitable footwear or clothing may be refused access to hazardous areas or, where necessary, the tour itself.

No refund will normally be provided where admission is refused because a visitor has failed to comply with clearly published safety requirements.

11. Health and safety questionnaire

Visitors may be required to complete a short health and safety questionnaire or declaration before entering operational brewery areas.

This is necessary to help protect visitors, employees and the integrity of the brewing process.

Visitors must answer any relevant questions accurately and comply with reasonable hygiene and safety requirements.

Where a visitor cannot safely participate, Camerons Brewery will consider any reasonable adjustments or alternative arrangements that may be available.

12. Conduct during the tour

Camerons Brewery is a working production environment containing industrial equipment, machinery and potentially hazardous areas.

For everyone’s safety, visitors must:

  • Remain with their designated tour group and guide.
  • Follow all reasonable instructions given by brewery staff.
  • Stay within authorised visitor areas.
  • Refrain from touching or interfering with machinery, equipment, materials or brewing processes unless expressly permitted.
  • Avoid entering restricted or unauthorised areas.
  • Immediately inform the guide if they feel unwell, become separated from the group or are unable to continue.

Visitors must not remove brewery property or interfere with the production process.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to suspend or terminate an individual’s participation where their conduct presents a safety risk.

13. Alcohol, smoking and prohibited behaviour

Visitors must not participate in the tour while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs where this would compromise safety.

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any visitor whose condition or behaviour creates a reasonable safety concern.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited within brewery buildings and operational areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas, where provided.

Alcohol tasting is available only to visitors aged 18 or over, subject to the brewery’s responsible alcohol service policies.

14. Brewery tour changes and operational requirements

Camerons Brewery is a working brewery, and operational requirements may occasionally affect the tour experience.

The brewery reserves the right to make reasonable changes to tour routes, timings, access to particular areas, tasting arrangements or other elements where necessary for safety, production or operational reasons.

Where a material part of the booked experience cannot be provided, any entitlement to a refund or alternative arrangement will be assessed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

15. Cancellation or rescheduling by Camerons Brewery

Camerons Brewery reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a tour where necessary because of operational difficulties, safety concerns, emergencies, staff availability or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Where Camerons Brewery cancels a tour, purchasers will be offered an alternative available date or a refund of the ticket price.

Where a tour is rescheduled by Camerons Brewery and the purchaser cannot attend the replacement date, a refund of the ticket price will be available.

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

16. Gift vouchers

Where gift vouchers are offered, they are valid only for the experience specified and are subject to availability.

Vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash and may only be redeemed once.

Vouchers must be redeemed within their stated validity period, subject to applicable consumer law.

Once a voucher has been redeemed against a confirmed tour booking, the cancellation and amendment provisions in these terms will apply, subject to any statutory cancellation rights that may apply to the original voucher purchase.

17. Personal belongings and liability

Visitors are responsible for taking reasonable care of their personal belongings.

Camerons Brewery is not responsible for loss or damage except where it is legally liable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Payment disputes and statutory rights

If you believe that an error has occurred with your booking or payment, please contact Camerons Brewery promptly so that the matter can be investigated.

The published booking and cancellation conditions form part of the contract between the purchaser and the brewery.

Nothing in these terms restricts any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights or rights available through a card issuer.
